A Day of Reflection: Willie Littlechild

Jul. 01, 2021

We met with the most accomplished First Nations hockey player from our area, Willie Littlechild, to hear his thoughts for this Canada Day. The residential school survivor went on to be a commissioner in charge of Canada's Truth and Reconciliation Commission, among countless other amazing accomplishments. Willie says while there is a lot to be grateful in this nation we must not quit working to end the wrongs we still see today. He shares stories and thoughts on how we best move forward together in the latest edition of Stars for Life powered by Imperial Oil Strathcona Refinery.
